Procession from 11.30am along Banstead High Street

Crowning of Joint May Queen’s Amber-Jade & Holly Standish at 12 noon

Fayre open 12 noon – 5pm

The Orchard, All Saints Church, Banstead.

 

The May Fayre started in 1985 as a small village fete.  It has grown into a major event for the whole community.   The day is organised by the Banstead Village May Queen Group Committee.

Attractions include Maypole Dancing by pupils, of St Anne’s Catholic Primary school, country dancing by Banstead Infant School, East Surrey Morris Men,  Redhill Corps of Drums, Surrey Pipe Band,  BBQ, Beer and Pimms tent, Bottle tombola, talent show and many others!

Proceeds go to The Children’s Trust, Tadworth.Each year the Fayre is opened by The Mayor of Reigate and Banstead.
